Paul school will have its 13th year anniversary this year. It was a great gift for us. Unfortunately we are not able to celebrate it. Your school village is right in the conflict areas of Myanmar. Your school has been closed for three years. First for corona reason, then out of the conflict with the military. All people left the village as there were a lot of fights. The situation is not getting better. I am so sorry to write about it. But it is the truth.
Now our land is not in a good condition. Wars are all around the country. Every group is searching for new members to fight. All the young people between 18 to 35 years old are very worried. Now all the passport offices are full and a lot of young people are going abroad. I am now about 40 years old and I also need to worry. My family wants me to go abroad alone first. But it is difficult and I need to think about our projects and my family.
Here in Bagan, there are some local visitors on weekends. They spend their money because they do not know what will happen next in Myanmar. Everyone is hoping for a better time.... Min Min
